Iain Spence is

Experienced

He has worked in the surveying industry since 1986.  He trained with two firms of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents in Cambridge and Newmarket while he was achieving a BSc in General Practice Surveying and obtaining his professional qualifications, MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).

Since becoming qualified Iain has spent four years working for the Valuation Office Agency and 11 years working for a national firm of Chartered Surveyors within the Cambridge area.  He has experience of all types of properties in the area from modern brick and timber framed through Victorian solid brick to traditional stone, timber framed, clay bat, clunch and wattle and daub.

Local

Iain has been working in the Cambridgeshire area throughout his Surveying career.  Having graduated at what is now Anglia Ruskin University and worked extensively in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Suffolk and Norfolk he has a very good local knowledge of values and construction.
